Creative Arts & Wellbeing Academy · Cape Town

Every child carries a ray of light.

A safe and inspiring creative sanctuary where children imagine, express, learn and heal through the arts.

01 The meaning of Ilitha

More than an academy. A place to shine.

Ilitha means “Ray of Light” in isiXhosa.

Ilitha Academy is a creative arts and expressive wellbeing academy created to give children a safe, joyful and nurturing environment in which they can rediscover confidence, belonging and the freedom to create.

We nurture far more than artistic ability. Through drama, music, writing, painting and imaginative play, children develop emotional resilience, curiosity and lifelong confidence.
